Our Story
“It’s hard to believe our story began over 25 years ago” says Kathy Elliott as she reflects on the history of Pestban. She and her husband Jack founded Pestban in 1995. Their first office was in their tiny apartment in Marietta, Georgia just a few blocks from the Big Chicken.
They began selling the Built-In Pest Control System to builders one by one as subdivisions were exploding across metro Atlanta. Families purchasing these homes were happy to know that they had the Built-In Pest Control System, which could only be installed during new construction, and were quick to take advantage of the quarterly pest control service. This revolutionary system allowed the home to be treated for pests entirely from the outside which meant no one had to be home for service and no chemicals were applied where children and pets were at play.
In 2003, Pestban again answered the call from builders and homeowners asking them to provide termite services in addition to the Built-In Pest Control System. Pestban became one of the first companies to offer the effective and more practical in-ground termite baiting stations rather than traditional liquid soil drenching. Today, homeowners are thrilled that one company can provide pest control and termite protection for the home.
They are headquartered in Woodstock, GA and offer a full line of pest control and termite services across metro Atlanta and beyond into the Carolinas. When asked what has made Pestban successful for over 25 years, CEO Jack Elliott quickly responded,
